Christian Family Baptist Church (CFBC) Community Food Distribution is a 501C3 progressive outreach ministry. We are members of the San Antonio Baptist Association and Texas Baptists.
Through our partners and sponsors, we buy food directly from local resources to supply higher-quality products to our food clients. Our community and partners have rallied for the past eight years to fight hunger and malnutrition in the San Antonio community and surrounding counties.
In 2015, the San Antonio Food Bank selected us as the Hunger Fighting Team of the Year. God has truly blessed us. We partnered with San Antonio Food Bank and Daily Bread Ministries for over 4-years. Thus far, we have recruited over three thousand volunteers to distribute one million-plus pounds of groceries to 3.5 million hungry individuals. We are equipped to operate commercially; we have a box truck, a forklift, and plenty of parking. Our 3,500 sq. ft. food distribution center is furnished with a walk-in cooler and a walk-in freezer to supply safe and essential nutrients to our food clients.
Our goal is to supply free groceries to our clients struggling with food insecurity with funding provided through our sales from the on-site food concession trailer and generous donations from the community. We invite the community to stop by and purchase delicious tacos and sandwiches from us to help sustain this free grocery.
